PFA
Our Parents and Friends Association was formed many years ago and is now run by a small team headed up by Glynis Smith.
Its aims are to work with parents and friends of Starmaker to find ways of raising funds that can be used to purchase much needed equipment for Starmaker and other local charities.
The PFA have been responsible for helping Starmaker purchase all of their own radio microphones, stereo players for rehearsals, and two keyboards for use by its Musical Directors amongst many other items.
They have also made other donations to smaller charitable bodies and are currently planning a number of events for next year, including a Starmaker Parents show and a cabaret weekend, both of which have been run before and are always highly successful.
